| Working With the Wheel |
I must at this time stress I am not a doctor or a practitioner of any medical field. What I do is 'complementary', and is in no way a substitute for professional treatment. However, I firmly believe that the Universe gives us many gifts that we can use to aid in our recovery and on our journey to wholeness.
To get help quickly, below I have listed some of the situations and feelings we may experience, along with the animals, plants, stones and colors with which you can work in order to return balance to your spirit.
When working with these energies, quiet yourself with the White Light Meditation. Ask the appropriate energies to find and bless you. When working with an animal energy, work with something that represents that animal's energy to you, such as a photo or carving or perhaps you may have a feather or shell that is part of that animal's essence. When working with a plant energy, I highly recommend working with the essential oil of that plant, via massage or in an oil burner. When working with a stone energy, carry a small stone with you, or put it under your pillow to help you as you sleep. When working with a color, wear it or surround yourself with it [my 'music room' is painted aubergine!] or burn candles of that color. The flame of the candle will add living energy to its color. All of these are gifts that the Universe gives freely to help us, and remember in all things the Source of these energies, and to give thanks.

| Walking the Red Road |
Search for yourself, by yourself. Do not allow others to make your path for you. It is your road, and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you.
Treat others in your home with much consideration. Serve them the best food, give them the best bed and treat them with respect and honor.
Do not take what is not yours. Whether from a person, a community, the wilderness, or from a culture. It was not earned nor given. It is not yours. You cannot enjoy what is not yours.
Respect all things that are placed upon the Earth.
Rise with the sun to pray. Pray alone. Pray often, Creator will listen, if only you speak.
Honor other people's thoughts, wishes and words. Never interrupt another or mock or mime them. Allow each person the right to a freedom of opinion. Respect that opinion.
Never speak of others in a bad way. The negative energy that you put out into the universe will multiply when it returns to you.
All persons make mistakes. No matter how small or large the mistake it can still be forgiven.
Bad thoughts cause illness of the spirit, the mind, and the body. Keep bad thoughts at bay. Practice optimism.
Nature is not for us, it is a part of us. Treat all natural beings as a member of your family.
Children are the seeds of our future. Plant love in their hearts and water them with wisdom and life's lessons. When they are grown, allow them to find their own place.
Keep yourself balanced. Your mental self, spiritual self, emotional self, and physical self all need to be strong, pure, and healthy. Work out the body to strengthen the mind. Grow rich spirit to cure emotional ails.
Make conscious decisions as to who you will be and how you will respond. Be responsible for your own actions.
Remember in everything to give thanks. |
